Preventive visits are also another part of primary care visit which provide risk assessment and educational and health promotion counseling to all women of childbearing age to reduce reproductive risks and improve pregnancy outcome.

Intervention for identified risks :

It also helps to Increase the proportion of women receiving follow up intervention to pre conception risk screening, focusing on high priority intervention.

It is also important. We have to use interconception period to provide additional intensive interventions to women who have had a previous pregnancy with an adverse outcomes.
